Article 2 (Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information)
- Sayu Law Office retains and processes personal information within the period specified by law or agreed upon by the information subject upon collection. Personal information of information subjects will be retained and used until the purpose of processing is achieved or until the information subject withdraws consent. Once the purpose is achieved, the information will be promptly disposed of.
Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
- Sayu Law Office processes personal information within the scope specified in Article 1 and provides personal information to third parties only with the consent of the information subject or as required by special provisions of the law, such as Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act. Sayu Law Office does not currently provide personal information to third parties.
Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

Outsourced Entity: imweb Corporation Processing Items: Website Hosting and Maintenance The law firm SAYU complies with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act when entering into outsourcing contracts, by specifying in documents such as contracts the following: prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of performing outsourced tasks, technical and administrative protective measures, limitations on re-outsourcing, provisions for managing and supervising contractors, and liabilities including compensation for damages.
We promptly disclose any changes in the content of outsourced tasks or contractors through our privacy policy.
Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Methods of Exercising Rights)
- 1.Information subjects may exercise their rights related to personal information protection at any time as follows

- 2) Request correction if there are errors
- 3) Request deletion
- 4) Request suspension of processing
- 2.The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 may be done by the information subject to SAYU Law Office in writing, by electronic mail, facsimile transmission (FAX), etc., in accordance with Annex 8 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act. SAYU Law Office will promptly take action in response to such requests.
- 3.If the information subject requests correction or deletion of errors in personal information, SAYU Law Office will not use or provide such personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
- 4.The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 may be done through an agent such as the legal representative or a person delegated by the information subject. In this case, the agent must submit a power of attorney in accordance with Form 11 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 6 (Destruction of Personal Information)
- 1.SAYU Law Office promptly destroys the relevant personal information when it becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose.
- 2.If personal information must be retained under other laws despite the expiration of the consented retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose, SAYU Law Office transfers the relevant personal information to a separate database (DB) or stores it in a different location.
- 3.The procedure and method for the destruction of personal information are as follows

SAYU Law Office selects the personal information for destruction when the reasons for destruction occur, and with the approval of the personal information protection manager of SAYU Law Office, proceeds to destroy the personal information.

SAYU Law Office destroys electronically recorded or stored personal information so that it cannot be reproduced. Personal information recorded on paper is shredded or incinerated for destruction.
